2 oz local bourbon/rye [We recommend Laws, Stranahans, and Tin Cup]
.5oz Apple Cinnamon Simple
1 quart sugar
1 quart water
2 sliced apples
6 cinnamon sticks
Muddle an apple slice with a lemon zest, simple syrup and your choice of bitters, we recommend apple and a few dashes of angastora for it’s clove and cinnamon notes. Next add your bourbon/rye, stir with ice, strain and pour over some ice!
Apple Cinnamon Simple Recipe
This part’s easy! Bring a quart of water to a boil, once boiling add a quart of sugar, 2 sliced apples, and 6 cinnamon sticks. This recipe can be doubled or halved depending on how much you need.
