Executive Chef

After graduating from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors Degree in education, Brett Bertin moved to Colorado in the summer of 2002, still searching for his life’s calling. He looked to his hobbies (fishing, hunting, and gardening) and found a deep passion for the culinary arts. He enrolled in the Art Institute of Colorado’s culinary program, eventually graduating Summa Cum Laude with honors and earning his associates degree. He began working with SALT Bistro in the summer of 2009 as a line cook, steadily climbing the ranks to lead line¬†cook, kitchen manager, sous chef and now executive chef.
