Dear Friends,
These are challenging times for everyone, instead of fear, we choose hope. We hope that you will stay in and stay safe. We hope that our food nourishes your body and lightens your soul. We hope that Boulder will support all the great restaurants that make it such a great place to live and dine. We hope this will bring us together.
I am of the thought that this is not a sprint but a marathon. This is the new normal and together we will get through this.
Restaurants are playing a very important role in being safe food distribution hubs. We have pivoted our focus to supplying our community with the food and basics they need to minimize shopping and risking infection or spreading the COVID-19 virus. So please stay safe and let us take care of your family.
I have been assured that the supply chain is in good shape.
Heartbreaking as this is to us, it warms our hearts to serve our community in these difficult times. We will continue to do what we do best, which is to provide nutritious and delicious meals to you and our staff in a safe manner.
If you would like to order our NEW menu is attached, please call us at 303-444-7258. FOR DELIVERY WE USE
– DOORDASH, UBEREATS AND GRUBHUB.
– Beginning today for a week we will serve from 4 pm-8 pm, 7 days a week. Preorders (12 pm-4 pm) are encouraged as we have a very small staff. My son Colter has volunteered to help wash dishes with his dad!
You will be given a pick-up time to pull into the space behind SALT where your order will be brought out to you. In addition to our expanded Family-style dinner section have added a provisions section that will allow stock you to stock your refrigerator and allow for versatility in your food prep. Also, we have a pantry section with a few staples. (If you would like to suggest any other items please let me know). And a beer and wine section. Right now we are swimming hard to get this going so please give us a shot!
By ordering curbside delivery you can support our local restaurants, employees, and the economy.
We do not expect a gratuity. If you feel generous, we will accept donations on the curbside takeout, of which 100% will go to our staff who have lost all of there income. We are doing a daily staff meal our “family” to help them through this challenging time.
We at SALT are always very strict with our food handling practices, and we are upping our game to ensure that your safety comes first. Gloves, continuous sanitizing, a staff of 3-4 workers at a time who have agreed to stay away from any close human contact outside of work.
